The conference is being held from Thursday, the 22nd, to Saturday, the 24th of January, 2026.
However, we strongly advise the international delegates to arrive a day before the beginning.

Position Papers & Ambassador Speeches

Each delegate is required to submit a Position Paper on their assigned committee topic/s. These Papers should provide a comprehensive overview of the issue at hand from the Delegate’s country’s perspective. Position papers should be 700 to 1000 words per topic in length, should be written in Times New Roman, size 12, with 1.5 line spacing, and should be submitted to the emails of your chairs by January 16.

Each Ambassador is required to submit an Ambassador Speech on the topic of the Conference. It should cover all the Committee topics (even if the nation is not represented in one or more of these). These speeches should provide a comprehensive overview of the issue from the Delegate’s country’s perspective. The speech should be a maximum of three minutes in length, and should be submitted to the emails of the President and the deputy President of the General Assembly by January 16. The presidency will then determine which Ambassadors will have the opportunity to present their Speech at the General Assembly, based on their relevance and quality.

Conference fee

The fee for each Delegate or Observer is 80 € + VAT. It includes participation in the
conference, conference materials, coffee and snacks, lunch on Saturday, access to public transportation in Ljubljana, a discount at Hotel Atelier Ljubljana, and entrance to all official GimBMUN events. You will receive the payment information once your application is
accepted.
